Pre-Treatment
Discontinue the following medications/supplements 7-10 days prior to treatment
- Aspirin, Excedrin, Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, Aleve)
- Omega 3/Fish Oil, Flaxseed, Krill Oil
- St. Johns Wort
- Vitamin E
- Gingko Biloba
- Ginseng
- Garlic
- Turmeric
- CoQ10
Acetaminophen is safe to take for headaches or minor pain as it does not thin the blood
Avoid Alcohol Consumption for 48 hrs prior to treatment
Eat Fresh Pineapple (Contains Bromelain) 1-2 days prior to Injection
Take Arnica Supplements 1-2 days prior to Injection
Post-Treatment
No Exercising for 24 hrs post treatment
Do Not Massage Area unless otherwise Instructed to do so
Avoid Alcohol Consumption for 24 hrs post treatment
Avoid NSAIDs (Aspirin, Excedrin, Ibuprofen) for 24 hrs post treatment
Apply Cold Compress on and off every 5-10 minutes for 2 hours immediately following treatment
Wait Atleast 1 hr to apply any cosmetic products/makeup. Please keep in mind that the injection sites are open and applying products to the skin immediately can result in clogged pores and/or an infection in the area.
